Boris Apituley

Amsterdam-born, I have been working on national and international film sets across television series, films, and commercials since 1996. Over the years, I have developed into a first assistant director, with a strong focus on structure, maintaining overview, and executing efficient shooting days.
In 2001, I took on my first role as 1st Assistant Director for the television series Westenwind. Between 2004 and 2007, I worked as a producer on commercials, including at what is now Czar Jr. I continue to draw on that producing experience on set: anticipating challenges, thinking ahead, and taking responsibility where needed.
The combination of feature film and commercial productions has sharpened my analytical approach, strengthened my interpersonal skills, and shaped me into a team-driven AD who connects people and moves productions forward.
